Program Instructor - Conversational AI and Chatbot Development
Job Overview

The Program Instructor will be required to provide comprehensive training and promotional services for the training program. Training involves facilitating and assessment of the learners/students. He or she will provide on-site and online training activities based on the training schedule for each cohort and in line with the policies, procedures, and standards of Smartecniqs Digital Solutions, or any other relevant regulatory organization.

- Devising technical training programs according to organizational requirements
- Producing training schedules and classroom agenda
- Determining course content according to objectives
- Produce material and equipment required for teaching as requested, including printing, downloading of support material, worksheets and help sheets.
- Developing a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs
- Employing a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing students, including demonstrations, discussions, and lectures.
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic technical trainer/instructor to educate people (students) in a technological field of Conversational AI and Chatbot Development. You will develop technical training programs and help others develop skills that will make them better professionals.
Conversational AI and Chatbot Developement trainers must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way.
The goal is to contribute to the development of people’s technical/IT skills to meet organizational and professional needs.
What does a Conversational AI and Chatbot Development Program Instructor do?
Program Instructor/Trainer/Facilitator responsibilities include designing team and individual courses, maintaining records of curriculum and materials and gathering feedback on the quality of training from trainees/students and partners. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with various educational techniques for different roles and skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver appropriate training materials for learning and development sessions to improve the knowledge and skills of Learners within appropriate training timelines based on approved curriculum, scheme of work and lesson plans.
- Conduct Learners Assessments to ensure that all Learners acquire the requisite skills, knowledge and international standards for their roles as professional Conversational AI and Chatbot Developers
- Maintain modern, effective training methodologies including use of Learning Management System, and monitor student's effective use of tools and equipment.
- Organize and maintain accurate Learners records, including grades, assignments, performance evaluations, and behavioral issues.
- Assist Learners to acquire the requisite rigorous workforce/employability skills that would enable them to achieve organizational and their personal development goals
- Attend periodic meetings to facilitate communications with other team members to accomplish set targets and achieve the partner’s goals.

- Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
- Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
- Arrange for and conduct online, on-site and off-site training when needed
- Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
- Observe and evaluate results of training programs
- Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
- Organize in-house and offsite activities, like presentations, job simulations and role-playing exercises
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field
- Masters degree in a Computer Science related field is an added advantage
- Professional certifications in any of the following fields: Conversational AI, Chatbot Development, Python Programming, Data Science from a renowned international institution.
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant work experience as a program instructor/facilitator/trainer in any of the above mentioned technical fields.
- Or minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role.
- Minimum of 1 year experience using the following tools: Dialogflow, Rasa Platform, spaCy

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
- Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
- General skills in Python, Software development, Artificial Intelligence, Website design (front end, back-end) and Machine learning
- Organised, structured with measurable initiative.
- Determination to meet deadlines and ability to cope under pressure.
- Gross Salary between NGN150,000.00 - NGN250,000.00 per month.
